INFORMATION REGARDING Tickets for remaining LaLiga home games
The process covers games from Matchday 16 to Matchday 37
Jaume Domenech returned to the goalkeeping spot for Valencia CF against Alavés, featuring in LaLiga for the first time since the March 17th game against Getafe CF. According to the club's plans, he will be between the sticks for the season closer against Real Valladolid and the Copa del Rey final.
Speaking after the game at Mestalla, he was quick to give praise to his teammates for the important victory on Matchday 37.
"I'm very proud of the team. It's been a season in which we've been through tough moments, but have been able to pick ourselves back up and reach the final matchday with our fate in our own hands. Now we need to work very hard, because we can't fail against Valladolid," he told VCF Media.
"The maturity and commitment of this team should be highlighted. We went behind today, we fought back and we had chances to score goals. I'm very proud of my teammates. We have two games remaining -two finals- and we are going to prepare ourselves fully for them."
On a personal level, Jaume was pleased to get another chance to show his skills.
"I'm very happy. Whenever I've been called upon to play, I'm happy to help the team on the pitch -and to keep working to have more opportunities."
His final words were a message of thanks to the fans, who cheered him as always during the match.
"This is a nice season. The fans have supported us at every moment and the campaign could end in the best way possible. We felt the warmth of the fans in the Centenary year, we are proud of them and we need them."
